Abstract
Good infrastructure contributes to economic development by increasing productivity and services in the area which enhances the quality of life. Focusing in the Northeastern region of India where a large section of the population live in rural settings. Assam being one of the most populated states in the region, with over 86% rural communities of a total population of 35 million, where Housing and infrastructure are two critical aspects that need heed in this overall development of villages.
